# Overview

Alias Codes allow enterprise users to assign custom access codes to visitors.

Each alias code is:

* Linked to a specific access and private location.
* Required to be unique within the associated location.\
This uniqueness applies across all codes, including booking codes and user codes.

Alias Codes enable a more personalized and controlled access experience while maintaining the integrity of the location's code system.
